The Truth

So many teachers don't even know where to begin with providing accommodations to students with special needs.  They feel overwhelmed as they struggle to stay afloat amidst the foreign world of special education. 

Enter the Special Teacher Fairy! 

I am here to help teachers help their students with special learning needs. It's my desire to teach teachers to wield their incredible skills with students who learn in a way that is much different from their usual teaching methods.

By day, I'm a regular teacher.  My job entails providing instruction and special education services to students.  But by night, I'm the Special Teacher Fairy, traveling the globe to assist despairing souls in providing the very best for their students.  


Thousands of teachers cringe when they find that at least a portion of their roster is composed of names of students with special needs. These teachers are not necessarily bad people, but often lack experience and confidence they need to navigate through an area of education that is pretty unfamiliar to them. Others are never really sure if their students are missing out on something because they have such limited knowledge of educating students with special needs. From the paperwork to the instructional practices, many teachers become overwhelmed by the prospect of doing something wrong.
